We believe building trust starts with a firm foundation of understanding, and that's why we've taken the time to present these terms in a clear and accessible way. Think of this as your roadmap for experiencing everything we have to offer, laid out in straightforward language. So, let's walk this path together, with clear communication and a shared vision for long term association and success.
- The service timing is clearly indicated as 6000–8000 kilometres or 8 months (whichever comes first) from the date of extended warranty protection plan purchase.
- A car must have less than one lac km on the odometer or up to seven years old from the initial date of sale in order to qualify for this warranty plan. A copy of the registration document or the invoice for the vehicle's sale must be accepted as enough proof of this.
- Shock absorber coverage under CUVRR will be limited to 60,000 km cumulatively.
- The owner must perform the standard PMS services at the Partner Workshop of CUVRR as stated in point 1. When services are rendered, the CUVRR Partner garage is required to follow the criteria and ensure that the customer has proper visibility to the records.
- Vehicles must go through an inspection before a warranty is issued.
- The stated mileage is provided simply as a general indication of when servicing is necessary and is in no way a guarantee of the actual kilometers travelled by the vehicle hence maintenance as schedule is must.
- Replacing the engine's oil and filter is the must requirement of the Preventive Service. examining the coolant level, monitoring the oil levels in the gear box and differential, and adding more as necessary.
- The extended warranty protection plan will be void if the mileage recorder is not kept in working order, is disconnected, or is tampered with.
- CUVRR shall choose whether the car will be fixed through repair or replacement or equivalent part whether OE/OES to address any faults. Replacement parts become the property of CUVRR.
- The Owner is responsible for paying for any repairs or replacements needed for any parts not covered under the covered part list.
- CUVRR reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at its sole discretion at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes.
- No responsibility will be taken for damage brought on by abuse, neglect, corrosion, intrusion of foreign or harmful material, lack of servicing, overheating, freezing, or continued use of the vehicle after a fault has become apparent, or for incidental losses resulting from the failure of non-covered Parts under the protection plan.
- No responsibility will be taken for any failure brought on by normal wear and tear, improper installation, faulty or defective components at the time of sale, flawed manufacture or design, or alterations or modifications that deviate from the manufacturer's specifications.
- Services given as part of an extended warranty neither start a new warranty period nor extend the current warranty. The warranty period for any spare parts or services installed expires on the very date of extended warranty protection plan expires.
- Damage as a Result When a CUVRR-covered problem prevents the Owner from using the vehicle, CUVRR is not liable for any ensuing indirect damage, time wasted, discomfort or losses associated with it.
- At any time throughout the course of active protection period, we may transfer, assign, charge, subcontract, or obligations arising under it.
- Only Delhi courts will have jurisdiction over any and all disputes or disagreements relating to the settlement of claims, regardless of their origin.
Warranty Obligation
- This mechanical and electrical breakdown protection plan is intended to help with the cost of repairing or replacing the parts described in extended warranty coverage list of parts in particular plan and As stated in the terms and conditions.
- If any defect or defects are discovered in your vehicle within the time frames outlined hereinafter, the workshops sole obligation is to fix or replace any part that is found to be in need of repair with a new OE, OES, or equivalent part without charging the owner for parts or labor, provided that the Partner workshop acknowledges that the defect is due to mechanical or electrical breakdown as defined in the plan purchased.
Eligibility to get the claim:
- The car must be covered by the CUVRR policy throughout the coverage period.

- The owner of the vehicle must present the essential documentation to demonstrate that the vehicle has received periodic maintenance at the appropriate intervals through CUVRR partner workshops only.

- The Owner is required to present the CUVRR certificate (digital or hard copy).

Commencement of Extended Warranty Protection plan:
This warranty will begin following a 30-day cooling-off period. depending on the plan chosen. The warranty period will last for either 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
Transfer of Extended warranty:
If you sell your car while it still has an active extended warranty plan, the value of the vehicle will undoubtedly grow. Contact us to transfer the extended warranty protection plan and be sure to include the name and contact information of the buyer of your car with nominal transfer costs of
Rs. 500. If the vehicle is sold to a motor dealer, trader, or to a person who is not covered by the terms and conditions of this Plan, The Protection plan cannot be transferred and will be automatically revoked.
Full refund: Cancellation within 30 days of extended warranty plan
- By notifying us in writing within 30 days of the date the Plan purchase, we shall give a Pro-rata refund of the money paid for the extended warranty protection plan upon receiving a valid notice, provided that no claims were made within the period of active extended warranty.
Exclusions :
- Failure to maintain the vehicle in compliance with the recommended service interval mentioned in Extended warranty terms and condition.
- Any components not included in the list of components covered.
- Any injury or damage resulting from racing or rallies where driving aggressively is necessary.
- Any damage brought on by the use of accessories or parts that are not authentic or those that have not been approved by CUVRR.
- Consequential elements including noises, vibrations, oil seepage, and sensations that are not likely to have a negative impact on how well the product works or performs
- Any loss resulting from an incident brought on by an external impact.
- Sheet metal and plastic parts that need to be replaced or repaired because of wear and tear, depreciation, moths, vermin, the process of cleaning, restoring, or renovating scratches, the impact of light, the sun, or any other atmospheric conditions, or bird droppings.
- Mechanical & electrical breakdown caused by overloading, strain, overrunning, freezing, excessive pressure, short-circuiting heating.
- Routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, polishing, minor adjustments, engine tuning, carbon cleaning, air conditioner servicing, gas leaks in the air conditioner, wheel alignment, tyre rotation and calibration/reconditioning of diesel equipment, such as injector/nozzles and fuel pumps.
- All consumables, including, engine oils, gear oil, brake oil, power steering oil, coolant, AC gas oil, grease, battery electrolyte, radiator coolant factors Rusting/Corrosion to metal parts.
- Damage to engine parts & fuel injection system as a result of use of poor quality of fuel, coolant or lubricating oil.
- Damage to engine due to hydrostatic lock or starvation
- The Warranty shall be void if the odometer is not kept in working order, is disconnected, or is tampered with.
- Driving despite having discovered a problem or defect, which results in further loss and harm.
- Interior and exterior linings, covers, absorbers and upholstery, Air, oil and water leakage, wind noise, screeching and rattling noises and leakages.
- Gaskets that do not move mechanically, such as flat and paper gaskets, radiators flange or gasket, water hoses and air conditioners O rings
- Glass, headlight housings, interior and exterior lights, convertible and foldable cover and the entire frame and body.
- Tyres, wheel balancing, feathers/springs, pneumatic springs, and pneumatic spring absorbers. Clutch disc, brake linings and drums ( if not in plan ) discs, and blocks. Work on the body and paint include any losses from accidents.
- Any act, occurrence, non-occurrence, omission, or accident that is beyond our reasonable control is deemed a force majeure event, and this includes (without limitation) the following:
- Lockouts, strikes, or other forms of labour unrest.
- natural disaster such as a fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, pandemic disease, or any other calamity.
- Unrest, uprising, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (declared or undeclared), or threat or preparation for war.
- The inability to use motor vehicles, railroads, ships, planes, or other forms of public or private transportation.
- The inability to use public or private telecommunications networks, and f. Any government's actions, orders, laws, regulations, or prohibitions.
- Normal Use Modification: Depending on the owner's personal habits, how the vehicle is used, and the sort of terrain it typically travels over, adjustments may be necessary after a time of fair normal use. Such modifications, such as getting rid of rattles and squeaks, are not covered by an extended warranty.
- Defect that was probably present before the start of CUVRR extended Protection plan.
- A foreign object entering the cooling or fuel systems.
- any oil, lubricant, hydraulic fluid, or additive grade that is not advised by the OEM.
- Any breakdown brought on by rust, frost, or a lack of coolants, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, or antifreeze that results in overheating
- Any malfunction brought on by chemicals, contamination, environmental harm, explosion, fire, freezing, fuel, road dangers, vandalism, windstorm, tsunami, or other natural disasters, etc.
- Any breakdown brought on by an act of God, a war's aftermath, an invasion, an enemy's action, hostilities or warlike actions (whether declared or not), civil war, commotion, mutiny, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, conspiracy, military or usurped power. Damage directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by or arising from ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or from any
- nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel or from any nuclear weapons material. For the purpose of this exclusion combustion shall include any self-sustaining process or nuclear fission.
- Aircraft pressure waves can cause damage both directly and indirectly.
- corrosion-related harm of any kind.
- Fire and any damage produced by it, either directly or indirectly.
- Only when the car has arrived at the workshop are all protection related cost will be covered.
- Damage as a Result When a CUVRR-covered problem prevents the Owner from using the vehicle, CUVRR is not liable for any ensuing indirect damage, time wasted, discomfort or losses associated with it.
